The attention of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) has been drawn to the presence of an impostor account on LinkedIn network in the name of Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, the DG of the ECN. The mentioned account is fake and a scam.

The authentic account of the DG, ECN is labelled Mustapha Abdullahi (PhD, CEng, MIMechE, SPE, Coren)

The public is hereby informed to disregard the fake LinkedIn account, and actions are being taken to attend to the impostor.

The Energy Commission of Nigeria wishes to inform prospective bidders and the general public that the Technical Bid Opening for Category A (Works) and Category B (Goods) of its 2023 Capital and Zonal Intervention Projects earlier scheduled for Tuesday, August 08, 2023 at 10am has been postponed to Tuesday, August 15, 2023 due to unforeseen circumstances.

In view of the above, the new deadline for bid submission for Category A (Works) and Category B (Goods) will now be on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 by 10am and the technical bid opening for the said Categories (“A” and “B”) will hold immediately at the Commission’s premises, Plot 701c Central Business District, Abuja.

The Commission regrets any inconvenience the shift in date may have caused you.

Procurement Advertisement (Tenders) For Works, Goods and Services - 2023 Capital Projects

The Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) is the Government organ with the statutory mandate for the Strategic planning and Co-ordination of National Policies in the field of Energy in all its ramifications to ensure adequate, reliable, cost-effective and sustainable energy supply for nation’s economic and socio-political development. In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Commission wishes to undertake the procurement of Works, Goods and Services under the 2023 capital projects.

Competent and Experience contractors/consultants are invited to apply for the Technical and Financial bids, and Expression of Interest (EOI) of the various projects of the Commission for the 2023 fiscal year.
